The Academy of Indonesia's Best Cultural Civil Technique Program in Lampung held field visits to Argogulir's Shore, South Lap, as a real form of experience-based learning that brought together academic theory with infrastructure reality in the field. The event was followed by students of the class 2024 and 2025 as part of an outdoor course of Irigation and water building and Earth Sect. This event is one of the implementation of the vocal-academic education approach that the Civil Engineering Studies Program, where students are not only given theoretical knowledge in classrooms, but are also invited to see, observe, and understand directly the application of civil engineering science on real infrastructure that operates in the community.

This visit is an outline of two core courses: Irigation and the water building and Earth Sect that precedes field mastery as mandatory competence student civil engineering. This field visit was designed as an outline of two major courses in the Civil Engineering curriculum, the Irigation and the Water Building and Earth Sect.

Through these activities, students are expected to be able to hook concepts that have been studied in college with actual conditions in the field. The Argogurah barrier was chosen as a visiting location because it was one of the important irrigation infrastructure in the Lampung Province which had a strategic role in supporting the agricultural sector in the South Lampung.
