The VAWT PLTB for the Soekarno- Hatta streetlight works to turn on street lights, reduce dependence on fossil energy sources and increase the continuity of energy use in the area. VAWT wind turbines have designs that allow turbines to spin with wind from various directions, making it efficient in inconsistent wind conditions.

The work of innovation is the guidance of a team of electrical engineering professors, Novia Utami Princess, MT. and the direction of Caprodi Electro Engineering, Elka Pranita, MT. as a form of Tridarma College to Masisia, Students have tremendous potential to create positive changes in society. This way students not only study theories, but also apply science and innovation to solve real problems.
