
The National Narcotics Province Lampung has invited new students to the Indonesian University of Teknokrat to be ambassador-drug. It was said by Dr. Ahmad Alamsah as a Kabid P2M BNN Province Lampung during a public lecture at Propti II on the local campus, recently.
"Mr. RI President Joko Widodo in front of students in Papua recently said that no matter how clever the child is, if he has been exposed to drugs," Ahmad said on the occasion that he presented a public lecture on drug-related dangers, drug prevention and criminal law.
In his exposure, he confirmed drug abuse would ruin the future of the nation. Therefore, BNN invites students to become drug-ambassador.
It expanded the insight of students about the dangers of drug abuse, from the impacts on themselves and the threats of punishment ready to ensnare. "With the right understanding, students are expected to have a high consciousness which to stay away at once and present the dangers of drug abuse to their environment," said Ahmad.
He explained from a population of 10- 59-year-olds, in 2017 the prevalence of drug abuse in Lampung took the third of the 10 provinces of Sumatra and the 8th in a national order with the number of abuse of 128,529 people. The basis of Narotika's problems in Indonesia is Act No. 35, 2009 with the shortest sentence of 4 years, maximum death penalty.
The director of the University of Indonesian Teknokrat Dr. HM Nassallah Yusuf confirmed his side did not compromise with drug abuse. "The entire academic diagnosis of teknocrat should be clean of drugs.
