Soekarno-Hatta Road is a traffic road in Lampung City. Soekarno-Hatta Road itself is often passed by large vehicles because Soekarno-Hatta roads lead to industrial areas and port of Bakheni. Generally wave the road on the Soekarno-Hatta road still using power PLN and yet have no alternative in replacing street lights in case of a power outage. A risk could have occurred during the blackout of one of the other's late night traffic accidents.

The purpose of creating this Bayu Power Generator is to be able to replace it as an alternative when the blackout takes place at night, exploiting other energy that is on the highway, then it becomes renewable energy.

This Bayu Power Power Generator uses a Vertical Axis Wind Turbine wind turbine which has a working principle of exploiting wind energy generated from a vehicle passing from two different directions. That wind energy will turn the wind turbine connected to Gearbox and generate enough electricity to power the lights on Soekarno-Hatta Street, Lampung Bandar.
