The era of New Normal, PKM Univerity Teknocrat.

Bankarampai, The Department of Engineering and Computers University of Indonesia, one of the best PTS in the Lampung, did a community (PkM) in the New Suction Center of Poebian No.15, New Anchor, Western Anchor, Bangardastarya City.

Team leader PkM Fera Lestari, MT, Tuesday (2 / 9 / 2020), the activity that the professor and student are doing is socializing on rainwater harvesting and harvesting activities. The stage of this activity began in the social rainfall of August 24, 2020, and then continued to produce rain harvests on August 27, 2020.

Fera continues, the purpose of this activity is to increase the public's sense of rainfall and increase rainwater utilization as an alternative to a new normal source of fresh water.

The harvest of Fera's rainwater, was done to harness the natural sources of rainwater to satisfy the needs of clean water. Harvest rain can be used for washing and watering plants.

According to this civil engineering professor, in the normal new era, clean water needs are increasing because society has a new habit of washing hands. So harvesting rainwater can be one of the solutions to providing clean water, especially for hand-washing activities. In addition to alternative sources of clean water, rainsprings are done to recharge groundwater by pouring the excess rain that has been swept into the ground.

Because harvesting rainwater will make the public have rain savings. By harvesting rain people can reduce the abundance of water that can cause flooding in the rainy season and in the dry season people have savings of water that can be used in the hope that it will help people overcome the water shortage.

Fera expects with this activity people are increasingly aware of the benefits of rainwater as a new alternative to the fulfillment of clean water needs. The activities conducted by the professor of Civil Engineering University of Indonesia headed by Fera Lestari, MT was helped by TrySusanto, S.Pd. M.Cs and other civil engineering professors, are welcome both by Lurah and the support of New Susunan release.

The production of rain harvesters conducted by the students of Civil Engineering University of Teknowkrat was aided by Lurah and the people of New Susunan, and it also received a great welcome from the New Sunun Dawn, Muntoni Dawn, ST and got a great response from the community.

It is expected that the activities of this service will continue and benefit especially in the New Year's egress community. "We also express our gratitude to the Lurah New Susunan and the community that has been carrying on the work of PKm University of Teknowrat. Hopefully these activities can be of benefit to society," the Fera word.
