The University of the Indonesian Teknokrat as the College of Exclusion in Lampung continues to strengthen its commitment to presenting a practice-based education through student involvement in infrastructure development projects. One of the real forms of that commitment was the participation of students at Student Studies S1 Civil Engineering Program in internship impacts a project on the construction of the People's School in the East, which was run by a state construction company, the Abapraya Bratraktiya.

It became an important moment for students to have direct field experience and bridge between academic learning on campus with professional practice in the construction industry.

A number of professors from the Student Program S1 Civil Technique University of Indonesia are coming directly to the project site. The presence of professors is not only as ceremonistic as the release of interns, but also a form of college commitment in ensuring the process of student learning takes place as real and relevant to industrial needs.

In addition, the visit also strengthens the co-operation relationship between the Indonesian University of Teknocrat and the world of the national construction industry. This impact internship program is scheduled to last for three months. During interns, students will engage in various activities of construction projects, starting from studying project management, field job surveillance, to understanding the coordination mechanism that is involved in infrastructure development.

Through that experience, students can see directly how the theory studied in classrooms applied in the practice in the field. In the process of college, students of Civil Engineering study various disciplines such as structure planning, land mechanics, transportation techniques, as well as construction management.
