Indonesian University Dance Team successfully achieved the 2nd National Championship at the 2023 National Folklore Festival with a Traditional Dance. This feat has made the province public, because the Teknowkrat Dance team has successfully introduced the Traditional Province Dance at the national level.
Taghei Buai, a dance brought by the Teknowkrat Dance Team, inspired by a tradition committed by the Lampadun Pepadun society in general. In the tradition, there is a dance procession performed by girls of the subtribe in the Lampung society called the Congo. This dance has the meaning of 'child dance' and is a powerful symbol of the whole tradition in Pepadun society.
This competition was followed by 21 State College and Private in Indonesia, and the Indonesian University of Teknokrat won the 2nd place, leading the State University of Semanang to the 3rd place, and for the first place, the team of Bandung.
Freshman Vice-Director of Freshman & Alumni University of Teknocrat Indonesia, Muhammad Najib D.S. S.Kom., M.T. is giving a huge appreciation to the Teknokrat Dance team who has successfully won the 2nd Nationals. Muhammad Najib also stated that the Indonesian University of Teknocrat will continue to support and facilitate students in order to achieve their achievements according to interest and talent.
