Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia held a Community Service (PKM) activity on the Implementation of a Digital Library at SMK Negeri 1 Trimurjo, Central Lampung. Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia PKM team, chaired by Rio Aditomo M. Putra, S.T., M.T with members Dian Pratiwi, S.T., M.Eng, Fajar Dewantoro, S.T., M.Ars, Galuh Pramita, S.T., M.T, and Jupriyadi, S.Kom ., M. Kom. In this activity, the lecturers were accompanied by students of the Bachelor of  Civil Engineering study program.

In the activity which took place on Friday (May 20, 2022). Jupriyadi, S.Kom., M.Kom. gave a presentation of material as well as training on Digital Library Implementation. “The current development of the world of libraries cannot be separated from the development of information technology as a means of supporting library development. The use of information technology in the library aims to provide easy access and improve work efficiency and service quality to users,” said Jupriyadi. In addition to the school librarian, this training was also attended by teachers and staff so that more school staff would benefit. At the end of the activity, there was a direct practice of inputting the database needed for the smooth process of digital library activities later.

This activity was enthusiastically welcomed by teachers and school staff. The collaboration between Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia and SMK Negeri 1 Trimurjo Central Lampung is expected to improve the ability of teachers, school staff, and lecturers. Both in the field of community service, as well as improving the competence of teachers and school staff. The head of SMK Negeri 1 Trimurjo, Wahyu Tribudianti, M.Pd. said, this activity has a very positive impact on his staff to be able to increase knowledge about the Implementation of Digital Libraries. He hopes that the form of cooperation between Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia and SMK Negeri 1 Trimurjo can continue to be established in the future.
